Amethyst Geode Calcite Inclusion
Amethyst derives its name from the Greek word “ametusthos” which means ‘not intoxicated.
It is the purple or violet variant that is part of the Quartz family and was historically used to carve and create amulets and decorative jewellery.
It can be found all over the world including Spain. Brazil, Russia, Mexico and the United States.
This stone is associated with the Crown Chakra and is the birthstone of February.
