Angel Aura is the name given to Quartz that undergoes extreme heat (1600*F) and is then coated with a special blend of metals such as Platinum, Gold, and Silver.

This coating gives the crystal its unique iridescent or metallic shine.

This piece is a slice of a large quartz geode from Morocco that was cut and coated.

These crystals are sometimes referred to as Rainbow Quartz, Flame Aura, Aqua Aura or Aura Lite.

These crystals are mostly used for decoration and in small pieces, as pendants for jewellery.
