Apophyllite can be found all over the world including India, Canada, Germany, Japan and Norway.

Its names being derived from the Greek word apophyllízo, meaning ‘it flakes off’.

This is in reference to this crystals tendency to fall apart from itself when heated.

This stone can come in a range of colour like green, yellow or pink with its most common colour being white.
