A variety of four Pyrite Obelisk from Peru, to choose from.

This stone, also known as “fool’s gold,” is a common mineral that is composed of iron sulfide.

It is often found in sedimentary rocks and in hydrothermal veins, where it forms as a result of chemical reactions between iron and sulfur under high temperatures and pressures.

Symbolically, pyrite has been associated with wealth, abundance, and prosperity.

This is because its bright, golden color resembles that of real gold, and because it has been used historically as a substitute for gold.
